In our final estallment of the Best Buy #HintingSeason, we’re venturing farther into the realm of fun stuff. By now, you’ve picked out a great TV for the living room for family movie nights and you’ve grabbed a Canon camera to capture all the fun moments so what other fun gifts can we add to our list this year?
We discussed TVs in the last post about the BestBuy Hinting Season so this time we’ll focus on cameras, specifically our favorite camera brand—Canon. We’ve had Canon cameras around here since–well as long as I can remember. We love our Canon cameras because they are simple enough for me to use but offer the advanced features Tim wants in a camera. And they last a seriously long time as we’ve even handed down our cameras to the boys when we’ve upgraded to new versions like the Canon EOS Rebel.
Wearever, while geared for aging adults, offers parents of children with special needs a better option. Wearever’s waterproof bed liners keep the child’s bed dry so in the event of an accident, you simply remove the wet liner and replace it with a new one.
Big Hero 6 was one of the few animated movies that actually lived up to it’s hilarious trailer. But it also had a few tearjerker moments that are reminiscent of classic Disney animated movies. Thankfully, the plot appeals to children and adults alike which makes the movie a great choice for family movie night.
1989 is named for Taylor Swift’s birth year but it also is fitting as Taylor is re-birthing her brand image. And while it sticks to its theme, it does have some 1980’s pop incorporated into it but it really is so much more. Welcome to New York has a great beat to it and could be great for workouts or listening to when you wake up in the morning. Another track worth mentioning is Style. That is as close as she gets to any of the post breakup type of songs she loves to do. Bad Blood is a catchy song which is already rumored to be about Katy Perry.
Anyone who says there is no such thing as a bad day just hasn’t had one. We were invited to an pre-screening of Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day last weekend. Did we love it or hate it?
