Man Shoots Black Teen

Dunn Claims that Davis had a weapon when he shot him but that weapon was never found. Some letters from Dunn to his fiancée have been released by the jail.
Here are some excerpts:
It’s spooky how racist everyone is up here and how biased toward blacks the courts are. This jail is full of blacks and they all act like thugs. … This may sound a bit radical but if more people would arm themselves and kill these **** idiots when they’re threatening you, eventually they may take the hint and change their behavior.
I just got off the phone with you and we were talking about how racist the blacks are up here. The more time I am exposed to these people, the more prejudiced against them I become.
I’m not really prejudiced against race, but I have no use for certain cultures. This gangster-rap, ghetto talking thug ‘culture’ that certain segments of society flock to is intolerable.

“We’ve come to the conclusion that cigarettes have no place in a setting where health care is being delivered,” CVS Caremark CEO Larry Merlo told AP of the decision. He added in a written statement that ultimately discontinuing sales was “the right thing for us to do for our customers and our company to help people on their path to better health.”
Firefighter Detained At Scene Of Accident
A firefighter in Chula Vista, California was responding to a serious traffic accident when a highway patrol officer told him to move his fire truck instead of assisting a person that had already lost a lot of blood and was unconscious. The firefighter told the cop that he would tend to the situation at hand first in which time the cop placed him under arrest for failure to follow a lawful command from a police officer. Under California law the fire chief or if he is not present the highest ranking firefighter on the scene is the commanding officer of the scene including over any law enforcement that responds.
The fire-department released this statement during a press conference “To detain one of our firefighters in the middle of an incident is ridiculous,” Chula Vista Fire Department Chief Dave Hanneman said. “It doesn’t provide the good customer service, the good public service that both of our agencies are there to do.”
The California Highway Patrol issued a formal apology for the incident, all charges have been dropped against the firefighter, and the two departments have had a meeting together to discuss the situation.
