The One And Only Drama King

Drama King has an unusual sense of style that is definitely him and only him. He seriously has a closet full of clothes and spends a lot of time picking out his clothes each morning. His favorite outfits are worn over and over while other outfits can sit on the shelf for weeks before he’ll put it on. Most of his outfits fall into three categories: Character, Color, and Animals

Favorite Characters

His absolute favorite pair of pants is a pair of sweats that Grandma Cindy embellished with a Rey Mysterio (his favorite wrestler) mask on the pant leg so he could be Rey Mysterio for Halloween last year. And I swear that every time a load of laundry comes out of the dryer, that pair of pants is in the load to be folded. Although, I don’t know if it’s ever spent more than a few hours on the kids clothes shelves. He loves to pair it up with his favorite Rey Mysterio shirt that lights up when he walks.

He, also, has a variety of Scooby Doo, Harry Potter, and Super Mario Brothers outfits that are worn on occasion.

Favorite Color

If you were to look into his closet, you’d see a sea of red. Why? Because it’s his favorite color. Shirts, hats, pants, socks, and well I actually don’t think he has a single pair of red underwear. I guess we’ll have to fix that, won’t we?

Drama King strongly believes that red can be paired with any other color, shorts can be paired with long sleeve shirts, and that pants are not limited to winter time.

Favorite Animal

Dinosaurs, Dinosaurs, and more Dinosaurs. He’s been an avid fan of dinosaurs since he was little. He was the only 4-year-old I’ve known who could tell you all about them. He can tell you many different reasons why they became extinct and he has his own version that he firmly believes is the right answer. He’s watched lots of Land Before Time movies and loves the kid show, Dinosaur Train. He can accurately pronounce a load of dinosaur names and tell you about the three time periods in the Mesozoic era. He’ll even tell you how some animals alive today are direct descendants of dinosaurs. And he knows which ones.

Now, if only Drama King could pass on the fashion sense to our nudist in training. Yes, Little T would prefer to never wear clothes. It’s all part of the sensory issues he’s had all his life. He says clothes just feel gross.

Kids are so funny sometimes…neither of my boys are too picky about clothes yet, but I have a feeling they are going to get a lot more vocal sooner or later about what they’re wearing :).
