Wiglington & Wenks Review & Giveaway Sponsor
Winner announcement here.
History has never been my strong subject. I just never got into history as a child. However, I always wanted to travel the world. Imagine an online world that combines the best of both areas. is that online world. It is geared to kids aged 7 to 14 so what a perfect way to introduce history to our boys.
Sadly, neither of our boys were highly interested in this online world but I would guess it is simply their age. Most of the content is geared for older kids and our boys (age 6 and 7) were easily frustrated with how much I had to help them. They have experience with other online kid worlds which are geared to younger kids which require no assistance from me. Although, I did find the virtual world very intriguing when I sat down with them to introduce the site.
‘ basic accounts are free. Join now by going . And parents, make sure you sign up for the which allows you to follow what your child is doing.
Also, they offer a membership which includes access to premium features. This is an auto-renew monthly fee of $5.99 (at time of this post) which is comparable to other virtual worlds for kids. I would love to see other membership options like day passes or annual passes for those who might like to try it on for size or those who want to save by paying for a year at once.
Wiglington & Wenks has generously offered a one month complimentary membership to three lucky readers. Given that we are in the process of moving, I’m going to let this giveaway run the ENTIRE month so the giveaway will end on October 31st, 2010. I am also going to keep this pretty simple for entering.
