Garlic bread goes with so many dishes. But it can also be the perfect snack. This recipe is very simple and can be adjusted even if you don't have fresh ingredients.

Ingredients
4clovegarliccrushed
4tablespoonsbutter
1loafcrusty breadsliced
Chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
Place bread on a cooking sheet.
Combine garlic and butter in a microwave safe dish. Heat in microwave for 1 minute.
Brush bread liberally with garlic butter.
Cook for 5 minutes in 350* oven or place under broiler for 3 minutes.
Remove bread from oven and sprinkle fresh parsley over bread.
Serve hot from the oven.

TIP: You can use a 50/50 combination of butter and olive oil. Sometimes, we sprinkle cheese over the top before toasting.SUBSTITUTIONS: * Margarine can replace the full strength butter. * Dried parsley works great when you are out of fresh. * Garlic powder works if you find yourself out of garlic.
