Irrational Childhood Fears

Today we’re talking about irrational childhood fears. Did you have any? Click to read mine because you simply won’t believe it.

Most of us had, or still have, irrational childhood fears that plagued us until our coping skills kicked into gear. We each have that one (or two) things that we just can’t kick. For me, it’s having the closet door open while I’m trying to fall asleep. I don’t know why but it still bugs me if the closet door is open. It’s like my brain is 5 years old again and thinks a monster is going to jump out while I’m sleeping. The odd thing is I don’t even recall having the issue as a kid but maybe that’s because I always kept it closed growing up.

Did you have an irrational childhood fears?

By Angelia Embler

Angi grew up in southern Arizona but now lives in central New Mexico with her husband, two sons and three dogs. She creates, she responds to Yoast support requests, and she loves to ramble on about anything. When not doing those, she can be found curled up with a good book or watching any one of her favorite TV shows, movies, or an American football game.
