As you might recall, I am not a bra person. I’ve done the fittings. I’ve tried the tricks. I just don’t like bras. As I’ve said before, they are itchy, uncomfortable, and down right annoying. Enter the Coobie bra. Their site claims, “It’s simply the most amazing bra you’ll ever buy.” They say it’s so comfortable you can sleep in the bra. They said it fits almost every body. I was excited to test these bras after reading all the positive reviews.
Sadly, I was not one of those who loves the bra. They offer only two sizes for their seamless bras. The standard one fits 32A to 36D. The full size fits 38A to 42D-DD. I requested the full size one since I am larger than a 36D. The material is soft to the touch. The lace doesn’t appear to be the itchy kind. The pads are removable and should be removed when you wash them. The fit was a little awkward. The straps are thinner than any of my current bras. Imagine trying to squeeze an orange into a bag the size of a lemon. That’s how I felt when I tried to squeeze my body into the “full size” bra. So I gave them to my mom and she had similar complaints with her slightly smaller frame. My conclusion is that the bras are probably great for smaller chests but once you hit a D cup, they just don’t work out as well. Or maybe I’m just too finicky.
