You may have noticed that we haven’t been very active over the last few weeks. Well… we have an excellent reason. Life! It happens and it doesn’t always work out the way you want it to work out. Many months ago our landlords informed us that they planned on listing the house for sale. As reasonable people, we started watching the rental property market in our favorite cities hoping the perfect place would come up before the landlords got an offer on the house. We knew the house was older and probably didn’t have much of a chance of selling quickly so we knew we had time to wait.
Life happened and we looked at many properties before finding the right one. It was in one of our target cities. It had enough space for our family. It was a little out of our price range but we looked anyways. Thankfully, no one jumped on the property and the price dropped into our range. After some back and forth with the landlord and some mental planning for how everything would fit, we signed the lease and started packing. Moving was an adventure and left all of us in desperate need of energy every single day. We hit obstacle after obstacle but have now settled into our new home. Although, we still have a lot of boxes and a storage unit that need to be unpacked.
Coincidentally, we were approved to review a wonderful product called Matcha Green Tea Powder. Matcha provides 4 to 6 hours of mild steady energy as it acts as both a stimulant and a relaxant. The recipe book isn’t filled with drink recipes as I had feared. You’ll get recipes to make food dishes and sweet treats along side some pretty interesting looking drink recipes. My favorite from the recipe book has to be the Mint Matcha Milkshake due to my pregnancy acquired love of mint chocolate chip ice cream. I craved mint chocolate ice cream during both pregnancies and it’s never gone away. Adding small amounts of the green tea powder to almost any recipe is a great way to use it because it doesn’t impact the overall taste of whatever you create.
