Almost three years ago, Tim and I were facing the biggest decision of our lives: Where are we going to live? We knew we wanted to move out of Arizona due to the political environment and their racial profiling law but where could we go? We’d researched a variety of states in the past, but we threw all of that research out the window. We knew our ideal home would be found where the weather was acceptable, homeschool laws were non-secular, and job market was recovering. We, also, knew we wanted to live in a rural area with a larger city within a short driving distance.
We were overjoyed when we discovered a large house in a rural area nestled between a medium sized city and a large city. Our boys have fallen hard for our new home. They love the freedom. They love the slow going nature of rural life. They love how our neighbors wave hello as they drive along our dirt road. They think it’s amazing how everyone helps everyone else. And we love that they are happy. Moving to a rural area where we were free to be ourselves without judgment from the neighbor next door was how we found the good life.
Allstate is an insurance company who works everyday to help build more good in the lives of their customers. So, how can you get the Allstate Good Life? We highly suggest everyone gets out of the city once in a while. Go to the lake for the day. Beach for the night. Camping for a week. Spend the weekend tucked away in a cabin surrounding by beautiful mountain scenes. You’ll be amazed how getting away from the hustle and bustle of city life can really energize you.
